Welcome to Tom, Blinis Café-Bar new head chef

Blinis Café-Bar new head chef

We’re excited to announce that talented local chef Tom Spiller has recently joined Blinis Café-Bar as our new head chef.

Tom joins the Blinis team as we say farewell to Annelie Stallwood, who has done a fantastic job of running Blinis for the past 10 years.

Tom Spiller and Annelie Smallwood

Annelie came to us 2002 when she moved to the UK from South Africa. Initially, she worked in our hotel kitchen, but when the position of Blinis head chef became available, she left our hotel brigade and took over the reins at Blinis.

After a successful 10 years at the helm, Annelie has decided to take a break from the kitchen to spend more time with her young family. We thank her for her unfaltering hard work over the years and wish her all the best for the future.

Tom is a young, talented and enthusiastic chef. He comes to us from the Victoria Hotel Sidmouth where he has been working under Stuart White for the past three years. If you’re a long-standing regular of Blinis, you may remember that Stuart launched Blinis in 2003.

Tom has now been with us for a few weeks and is already receiving extremely positive feedback on his new dishes. We’re looking forward to his future additions and whatever he’s cooking up, we know you’re going to love it!
