Have you visited our newly refurbished Blinis-café-bar?

It’s been a busy few months here at Blinis Café-Bar. Since we re-opened, following refurbishment, our loyal regulars have been popping in to view the changes we’ve made. The Spring season has also brought in visitors to Sidmouth to sample the new daily lunch menu and specials.

During the closure, there was no time to waste as everyone worked hard to get the refurbishments finished. We initially spent a lot of time on the design; trying to enhance rather than hide the original architectural features of Blinis’ early nineteenth century building. Muted tones of burnt orange and lime green were chosen to create a unique and relaxing atmosphere for our customers, whilst the large American tin ceiling tiles were designed to fit perfectly with the wrought iron columns and ribbed glass lights.

The schedule was tight but, with a great team, we managed to finish on time. Once our Maitre D & Head Barista, Mike, had switched on the espresso machines, the smell of freshly roasted coffee beans once again filled the air and Blinis’ doors were ready to open.
