Wherever possible, we source local produce to create our menu at Blinis. As a local family-run business ourselves we like to support other local suppliers and we know that our customers appreciate this too.
Gibbins Quality Meats is a family-run business, now owned and managed by the family’s fifth generation butcher, Paul Gibbins. Based in Exeter, Devon Gibbins Quality Meats has been a specialist supplier to the catering industry since 1860.
We chose Gibbins Quality Meats as our meat supplier not only because of their location but also for their exacting standards. They supply locally sourced (where possible) meat from farms that rear their animals to the highest welfare standards. All their products are fully traceable and hand-butchered.
Seaton-based Devon Rose, another family-run business, supply our awesome burgers. The owners of the business, the Dean family, have been farming, game keeping, butchering and catering since the 1800’s.
Their meat comes from animals that are pure bred and reared on pasture land. Grown free range means their meats are always tender with a succulent taste.
The Devon Rose burger, made from 100% beef and to their traditional recipe, is a Taste of the West Bronze Award winner and a definite hit here at Blinis!
